Digitech DOD-BADDERMONKEY

The demand for a Bad Monkey re-issue has beens trong, sowe’re enhancing the original design rather than just re-issuing it. The “Badder Monkey™” will still feature its original “Bad Monkey” overdrive circuit, gain, and EQ frequencies, but we’re also introducing two new circuits: “Behaved” and “Badder”. Our new patent-pending 360-degree “Barrel” control allows you to blend any two of the three overdrive paths, giving you the ability to create hundreds of unique overdrive combos. The toggle switch lets you move the Bad circuit in or out of phase, or leave the toggle switch in the center position to activate Troop mode and use all three circuits at once. NOTE: When in TROOP mode the Barrel Control becomes inactive. The new “Badder Monkey™” includes the patent-pending reversible StagePlate™. On one side is the “Skid Pad” for keeping the pedal in place on the stage or ground. Simple remove the screws and flip the plate over to use the pre-attached “hook side” pad for easy pedalboard attachment. From a light breakup to a heavy Rock tone the “Badder Monkey™” is the perfect choice. We are excited for you to experience this new era of the Cage-Free DOD. StagePlate™ KEY FEATURES: Barrel Knob (Bleed Control): This is the “?rst of its kind” in pedals. (Patent Pending) Will be used in future DOD pedals. BARREL (Blend) Control: Controls the mix of the three independent parallel overdrive circuits. This blends any two of the three parallel overdrive circuits, allowing 1) a Behaved / Bad mix, 2) a Bad / Badder mix, or 3) a Badder / Behaved mix. Also note that this BARREL control has stop positions (“detents”) at the Behaved, Bad, and Badder marks around the knob. At these stop positions, only that particular overdrive circuit is active, allowing you to utilize the pure tone of a single overdrive circuit, if desired. Mode Toggle Switch: Upper switch position: (indicated by an upright Bad Monkey icon), the Bad overdrive circuit is in phase with the Behaved and Badder circuits. Skid Pad Side: The pedal ships with the new (patent-pending) 2-sided StagePlateTM installed, with a rubber skid pad side exposed when shipped. This provides stable grip on most surfaces when activating the footswitch. “Hook” Side: The StagePlateTM can be ?ipped over to expose the opposite side which has a pre-installed “hook” pad intended to mate with the “loop” material which is a standard means of mounting pedals securely to a pedal board. |
